New "Celebrity Apprentice" Cast Revealed Posted January 4, 2012 by Natalie Randall

People Magazine has confirmed the list of "stars" who will appear on the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice, premiering Feb. 12 on NBC.

"I just think we have a major group of celebrities, and we have a very iconic group," says the show's host, Donald Trump. "This is the best cast we've ever had, the biggest cast, and it's going to be special."

The group of 18 are former Incredible Hulk Lou Ferrigno, singers Clay Aiken, Debbie Gibson, Aubrey O'Day and Tia Carrere, model Patricia Velasquez, comedians Lisa Lampanelli, Arsenio Hall and Adam Carolla, George Takei (Star Trek), magician Penn Jillette, Paul Teutul Sr. (American Chopper), racecar driver Michael Andret, rocker Dee Snider, Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa Giudice, Mob Boss daughter Victoria Gotti, supermodel Cheryl Tiegs, former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza.

"We've never seen such a smart and funny group as this year's lineup of celebrities," executive producer Mark Burnett said of the upcoming season.

Trump joked on Wednesday's Today show that, in light of her background (her father was Mob boss John Gotti), it might be difficult telling Victoria Gotti, "You're fired!"

Don't Drink And DRIVE... Get a FREE Ride!! Posted December 30, 2011 by Natalie Randall

I have BIG plans for New Year's Eve... they involve my pjs, my 5 year old and an all night Wii tournament!!

BUT I know most of you have plans to GO OUT and GO OUT HARD!!!

PLEASE remember this New Year's to be SAFE! DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! In fact, there is a completely free way for you to get a sober ride home in the wee hours of 1/1/12!

The Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin law firm is again this year providing free cab rides home to adults who have rung in the New Year with one too many drinks.

As part of the firm’s Safe and Sober program, the free rides will be available in the Terre Haute and West Terre Haute areas from 8 p.m. Saturday through 3 a.m. Sunday.

To request a free cab ride home, call Yellow Cab of Terre Haute at (812) 478-5000 and tell them Fleschner Law is paying for the transportation home.

Cab rides are provided from a bar or restaurant to an individual’s residence, but not to other drinking locations.

Rides cannot be guaranteed because of the anticipated volume of calls. Cab drivers have discretion when accepting fares.

Call at least half an hour before you would like to be picked up.

BE SAFE and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It's hard to imagine that ANYONE could do this song as well as Led Zeppelin... But I am really digging the new cover of "Immigrant Song" done by Nine Inch Nail's Trent Reznor and Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O. The song is part of the soundtrack to the movie "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"... Check it out!

Jon Bon Jovi's new gig(s)... Posted December 17, 2011 by Natalie Randall

Rocker Jon Bon Jov not only has a new movie out called “New Year’s Eve”, he is also doing his first endorsement of a product in an ad campaign in his 30-year career with TV spots for Pfizer’s Advil.

The TV ad was shot in Red Bank, N.J., at the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Kitchen, a non-profit community kitchen that opened in October as an initiative of the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, of which Advil is a sponsor.

Brian Groves, VP-CMO of U.S. Consumer Healthcare at Pfizer, is telling how they were able to get Jon to put his stamp of approval on something after 30 years of NO endorsements...

How did you make it happen?

He hurt his calf on stage during a concert and he was telling a reporter about it and how he was taking Advil, so our team contacted his team to see if he liked this idea and he graciously accepted. Our team presented Jon with the “Real Advil Stories” campaign. Jon’s a unique individual for a lot of reasons, but he’s not unique in his pain suffering. We liked mixing a guy who was a very regular guy in his personal life in this “real stories” campaign, and we think he’s been a terrific fit.

[The campaign is] not just about celebrities by any stretch. Jon’s ad is the fifth in production and only two–one with Jon and one with Regis Philbin–incorporate the celebrity component. The celebrities are acting as recognizable, real people with real pain.

Why hadn’t he done any product endorsements in 30 years?

I think it gets back to his being an authentic entertainer and actor and philanthropist. I’m sure his time is very precious to him. I haven’t talked to him specifically about why he hasn’t endorsed other brands, but we’re delighted he endorsed Advil.

Is any payment from this going to his charity?

Advil does support the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation.

Alec spoofs himself on SNL Posted December 11, 2011 by Natalie Randall

Alec Bladwin made a surprise appearance on this weekend's SNL... Dressing up as an American Airlines pilot who wanted to apologize to "American treasure" Alec, the actor poked fun at the recent mishap where he was kicked off the plane for refusing to turn off his phone while he was playing Words with Friends...

I kind of agree with him on the whole "you must turn off your device" thing... If a cell phone signal or some wi-fi is gonna bring the plane down, I DON'T want to be on the plane!

However, he should have just turned the stupid thing off when asked!

Which classic 80's movie may get a sequel? Posted December 8, 2011 by Natalie Randall

Tom Cruise feels the need...

The need for a Top Gun sequel! When asked by MTV News about Top Gun 2, the actor replied: "We're working on it."

Last year, reports of a sequel to the 1986 flick were abuzz. Director Tony Scott confirmed he would return to direct, but Cruise's involvement remained a mystery.

But Cruise now says he is on board to work with Scott again. "I said to Tony I want to make another movie with him. He and I haven't made a film since Days of Thunder [in 1990]," he said. "We never thought that we would do it again. Then, they started to come to us with these ideas of where it is now. I thought, 'Wow... what we could do now.'"

"I hope we can figure this out to go do it again... If we can find a story that we all want to do, we all want to make a film that is in the same kind of tone as the other one and shoot it in the same way as we shot Top Gun."

Best news EVER!! Posted December 7, 2011 by Natalie Randall

Ever had a hangover this bad???

PLUS they get WORSE the older you get! So I have some GREAT NEWS!!! Check out the story here!

The FDA has approved a hangover pill that will hit most US drug store shelves in January 2012. The pill is called Blowfish and contains 1,000 milligrams of aspirin, 120 milligrams of caffeine and a stomach-soothing agent. Its to be taken in two effervescent tablets  the morning after a night of heavy drinking. The manufacturers (Rally Labs LLC) claim it will work in 15-30 minutes.

Being a cancer survivor I spend a lot of time going over approved therapies, medical journals, and FDA information. But this is one recent approval  I thought a lot of people would be interested in. Hopefully one day we will have a pill like this that cures cancer as well.

The other question I have is does it work? Is it better than tomato juice and raw eggs, more alcohol, or strong black coffee?

Blowfish costs $2.99 for a single dose, or $11.99 for a six-pack. It is currently available in Ricky’s NYC stores or online at ForHangovers.com It wont be on most drug store  shelves until January 2012.
