confused yet??? Posted March 22, 2010 by Natalie Randall

Depending on how you see things, it's a historic moment . . . or a historic mistake that the Health Care Reform Bill passed in Congress yesterday. If you don't know where you stand on the conterversial bill, or if you don't even really know what it means... Then check this out...

-Here are the four major points you need to know about the Health Care Reform Bill...

#1.)  It gives health insurance to 32 million Americans who don't have it.  That number mostly includes people living near or below the poverty line, and also people who've been denied insurance because of pre-existing conditions.

#2.)  The insurance companies hate it.  Starting in 2014, the bill PREVENTS insurance companies from putting a cap on how much they'll cover . . . REQUIRES them to cover "riskier" clients like people with pre-existing conditions . . . AND taxes them on the high-end insurance packages they offer to "safer" clients.

#3.) It'll cost $940 billion over the next 10 years.  But it's also expected to make the federal deficit go DOWN.  That's because the bill cuts some government spending and creates new taxes to cover the cost.

--Medicare will be funded by a tax on families that make more than $250,000 a year from their investments.  Insurance companies will also get hit with a 40% tax on the high-end insurance plans they offer to their best . . . and usually wealthiest . . . clients.

#4.)  Unless you're really poor or old, you'll get fined for not having health insurance.  By 2014, you either need to buy insurance, get it from work, or be poor enough to get it from the government.  Otherwise you get fined $695 a year.

The Oscar Curse!?! Posted March 19, 2010 by Natalie Randall

SANDRA BULLOCK is not the first woman to win the Best Actress Oscar . . . and then LOSE HER MAN.  In fact, it happens so often that people think there's a LOVE CURSE on that statue.  Seriously . . . once you look at the numbers, even if you've never believed in a superstition in your life, you might think twice about this one.

Almost every single winner in the past 12 YEARS has lost her guy… It started in 1998, when HELEN HUNT won the award for "As Good As It Gets".  She thanked her boyfriend, HANK AZARIA . . . then married him later that year.  Within six months of saying their vows, they were done.

GWYNETH PALTROW won for "Shakespeare In Love" back in 1999.  Two months later, she and BEN AFFLECK broke up.

HILARY SWANK won the Oscar for "Boys Don't Cry" in 2000 . . . and her marriage to CHAD LOWE remained intact. But in 2005, she won again for "Million Dollar Baby" . . . and a year later, they split up.

JULIA ROBERTS and BENJAMIN BRATT broke up just three months after she won Best Actress for "Erin Brockovich" in 2001.

The following year, HALLE BERRY won for "Monster's Ball".  And the following year, she and husband ERIC BENET were through.

REESE WITHERSPOON won Best Actress for "Walk the Line" in 2006.  Before 2007 had begun, she and husband RYAN PHILLIPPE were hammering out a custody agreement.

KATE WINSLET was last year's Best Actress, for "The Reader".  And we just found out that she and husband SAM MENDES have separated.

And maybe we can give an honorable mention to CHARLIZE THERON.  She took the Oscar in 2004, for "Monster" . . . and she and her longtime boyfriend, STUART TOWNSEND, just broke up this past January. Yes, that's definitely stretching things.  But hey, why not, right???

So if you count Charlize, that means NINE out of the last 12 Best Actress Oscar winners lost their men very soon after taking home the trophy.

The exceptions would be Hilary Swank after her first win . . . 2007 winner HELEN MIRREN and 2008 winner MARION COTILLARD.  Helen has been married to director Taylor Hackford since 1997, and Marion has been dating the same guy since 2004.

JERK!!! Posted March 18, 2010 by Natalie Randall

I CAN'T BELEIVE HE WOULD CHEAT ON SANDRA BULLOCK!!! THE GIRL ROCKS... but Jesse James blew it and he's even admiting it... Check out his new statement about a reported affair...

"The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded.     Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment. There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way. This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me."

So he says the rumors are untrue, but then apologizes... Sounds like he's guilty to me!!! Will Sandra take him back????

He cheated with HER???? Posted March 18, 2010 by Natalie Randall

The rumor mill is in overdrive since the latest celebrity cheating scandal... The latest, that Sandra Bullock has moved out of the home she shares with hubby Jesse James after he reportedly had an affair with THIS woman...

SERIOUSLY!!!! Who cheats on America's Sweetheart with THAT????? TEAM SANDRA ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!

Not Bad!! Posted March 17, 2010 by Natalie Randall

Mackenzie Phillips looks like a new woman!!!

The former child star spent $50,000 on Botox, Restylane and laser treatments to her face, as well as 36 hours' worth of extensive dental work and hair extensions.

Why the new look? On ABC's GMA Wednesday, Mac said that she wants her makeover to reflect her desire to reinvent her life from the inside out.

Phillips, who has long battled substance-abuse problems, made headlines last year when she admitted her father, Mamas and the Papas musician John Phillips, raped her over the course of ten years stating when she was 18. She previously said the relationship became consensual, but on GMA she changed her tune. "I've learned from thousands of survivors across several continents … that there is no such thing as consensual incest, because of the inherent power. I do not believe he had malicious intent," she added of her father, who died in 2001. "I believe he was a man who was ravaged by drugs and alcohol."

I say she looks FAB!!! All with actually havin surgery! NOW THIS is the kind of self improvement I support! (Unlike crazy Heidi Montag's 10 surgeries in one day!!)

Back to golfing, back with wife? Posted March 16, 2010 by Natalie Randall

After MONTHS apart... Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin, have finally been photograph together... The New York Post plastered the pic on the cover of their sports page.

The two were taking a walk together around their Isleworth gated community in Florida early Saturday morning when the shot was taken...

Interesting that the photo of them together happened to appear the same day that Tiger announced his official return to golf... Woods has announced he WILL be playing at the Masters starting Apr. 8th! While Tiger fans are HAPPY, it's a safe bet to assume that the rest of the men on the PGA aren't too thrilled!

FREAK SHOW!!! Posted March 9, 2010 by Natalie Randall

I honestly don't know if this video should make you laugh or cry!!!

What's really sad is that Heidi looks HORRID and she still can't act even though the video is directed by Oscar-winner Ron Howard.

I guess it's message is good... the whole misson of the video is to urge Congress to enact financial reform. BUT it's hard to focus on anything besides how absurd this girl now looks!!

New Co-Host for "Dancing" Posted March 8, 2010 by Natalie Randall

Gotta admit I was pulling for Melissa Rycroft, former Dancing contestant and bachelor star, to be the new co-host of "Dancing With The Stars"... But the job has gone to yet another "Dancing" alum, in fact she won the whole shebang... It's Brooke Burke! Check out the People Magazine atricle about the announcement here...

http://tvwatch.people.com/2010/03/08/brooke-burke-is-the-new-co-host-of-dancing-with-the-stars/

I do think Brooke will do a great job... (in fact, I'll probably like her better than Samantha Harris, who she is replacing... was never really a fan of hers!)

As for the upcoming season... We also now have a list of which stars are teaming up with which pros...

• Astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa
Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson and DWTS newbie Damian Whitewood
• ESPN’s Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
90210 star Shannen Doherty and two-time winner Mark Ballas
• TV mom Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani
• NFL star Chad Ochocinco and two-time winner Cheryl Burke
• Olympic gold medal figure skater Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya
All My Children star Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska
Nicole Scherzinger and season seven champ Derek Hough
Reno 911 star Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel
The Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower

The show returns March 22nd!

Bachelor Preview!!! Posted March 1, 2010 by Natalie Randall

You know I love my Bachelor scoop and in preparation for the big finale tonight, I've gather all the scoop I could get... So here it goes!!

WARNING!!!! SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!!

I've heard all along that Vienna is his final choice! But there's been TONS of speculation on if they were still together. Jake has been very coy in his interviews, just saying he's happy with the outcome... This of course has made everyone's imaginations run wild.

Some of the rumors have been:

-They re-shot the ending after all the bad press came out about Vienna and had Jake dump her.

-Vienna drops a bomb on Jake at the After The Fianl Rose Special (that airs tonight afdter the finale) and dumps him.

-Some giant twist regarding Ali somehow playing a role in the final rose ceremony and her and Jake ending up together

-Jake is with someone who is NOT Tenley or Vienna, but was with someone from the show.

-Jake dumped both girls, is with no one, single.

-Jake proposes to Vienna, she rejects him, so he asks Tenley back

Well, The “After the Final Rose” was taped this past Sunday in L.A... and not only are Jake and Vienna together and happy, but they are engaged.

Let the “boos” and hissing begin now…ha ha.

ALSO... during the "After The Final Rose", the new Bachlorette will be revealed. Nothing confirmed, but I'm 99% certain it will be Ali, who famously left Jake to keep her job.

As a final note... throughout the finale tonight, ABC will also be revealing the cast of the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars... Some rumors that caught my eye... Pamela Anderson, John Stamos, Kate Gosselin and Kevin Federline have all reportedly signed on. We'll know for sure after tonight!
