INDIANAPOLIS (WIBQ) - A special legislative committee looked at a bill that passed in the Indiana Senate earlier this year which could offer more sentencing options for minors like counseling and community service, and does not leave them with a criminal record in cases of teenage "sexting".

Sexting is when minors send explicit or racy text messages to each other. The committee has not decided what consequences, if any, they should recommend to the full General Assembly to deal with the increasing problem.
