Bloomington (WIBQ)-One man is dead following an early Sunday morning police pursuit in Owen County. According to the Sheriff’s Department the chase started in Bloomington when police tried to pull over a vehicle. The driver led police on a chase through Bloomington to Owen County when finally the driver lost control of his vehicle and got stuck in a field. As police approached the vehicle, they say the driver shot himself. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are continuing the investigation.
