MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) - Wisconsin’s annual free fishing weekend is coming up after Memorial Day. The DNR says everyone can fish without a license in the Badger State on June 5th and 6th.
The purpose is to get more people interested in fishing. The state DNR and fishing clubs plan to hold over 2 dozen free clinics statewide. And the DNR will lend rods and reels at 50 locations. More information is available at the DNR’s Web site, which you can access at Wisconsin.Gov.
