PUTNAMVILLE (WIBQ) - Speeders beware: the Indiana State Police District in Putnamville, now has a couple of heavy hitters to catch you. Troopers have been given two brand new Dodge Chargers, complete with 368 horsepower V-8 engines and lots of power to catch speeders.
One of the new units is marked with the ISP logo and color scheme, the other is a plain white unmarked car. Both 2010 vehicles are fully equipped with interior emergency lighting, multi-directional radar, and even an electronic ticketing system.
