TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ) - The City of Terre Haute has been named "Community Of The Year" By The Indiana Chamber Of Commerce. The award will be accepted by Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett at an awards banquet in Indianapolis on November 9th.
The award is given each year to a community for significant contributions in local buisness and overall city image.
Past award-winning communities include Anderson, Evansville, LaPorte, Muncie, Warsaw, Fort Wayne, Bluffton, Muncie, Columbus, St. Joseph County, Kendallville, Indianapolis, Elkhart, Batesville, Rochester, Jeffersonville, Lafayette, Noblesville and Valparaiso.
