WASHINGTON, Ind (WIBQ) - An explosion at a home in Washington, Indiana was apparently caused by a malfunction in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. The incident happened Wednesday morning fire officials found the home fully engulfed in flames and the owners of the home could not’t be located.
Methamphetamine lab materials were found at the scene by officials. Later that evening police were able to track down one person, Chris Spalding, at a home in Pike County. He was suffering from burn injuries and was taken to an area hospital. Police have not said if they consider him a suspect in the case.
