TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ) - Terre Haute Police are still trying to figure what happened over the weekend, when the driver of a stolen truck slammed it into house on the 2900 block of South 13 1/2th Street. Following the crash the man ran from the truck and tried to hop a train, but instead fell and was reportedly injured by the train.
Neighbors say the man, with three passengers in the stolen truck, were seen drinking and making U-turns in the area before the accident. The truck had been stolen from the north side, 5 miles from the incident. Police say the owner didn't even know it was gone until they called. Police have not released any names in the case or what charges may be filed.
