TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WIBQ) - Indiana State University Trustees will meet today and may decide to fine violators of the school's smoke free policy. The facility went smoke free on July 1st, but there are no sanctions on the books for violations. However; trustees will act on a recommendation to fine smokers caught lighting up on campus, $50.

The plan may not have find support though. Faculty members as well as smokers and nonsmokers have mixed reaction on the idea. Some say the fine is too much, others say the idea is ridiculous.
