TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WIBQ) - A 21-year-old man who admitted having sex with a 13-year-old girl twice in 2008 was sentenced to 6 years in jail Wednesday and then released. Christopher Tarrh admitted to the relationship with the girl and pleaded guilty to two felony counts of child molesting.
After being given credit for 3 years already served in jail, Tarrh was ordered to serve the rest of his term on probation. In addition, he will have to register as a sex offender and can not live near a school or have contact with children under the age of 16.
