PARIS, IL (WIBQ) -- Sixteen year old Terry Payton was back in an Edgar County Courtroom yesterday, at what was supposed to be a status hearing. In stead, the judge ordered a psychological evaluation to see if he’s fit to stand trial and to see if he should be found not guilty by reason of insanity. Payton apparently has a social disorder. He’s accused of killing his mother Kathie Payton last month. His Guardian ad Litem, Karen Burkybile said an unnamed person saw Payton at the jail, and that the unnamed person contacted her. Payton didn’t say anything in court yesterday, but thanked the more than 30 supporters who showed up for him.
