KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO) -- A Comstock woman has been jailed after her children were injured in a drunk driving crash on Portage street late Sunday night.  Public Safety says the woman, who was driving, was drunk and arguing with a 25-year-old man in the passenger seat when the van drifted over and struck a utility pole.   Neither of the adults were seriously hurt but the two toddlers in the back were. A 3-year-old girl is in serious condition and a 4-year-old boy is in stable condition at Bronson Hospital with broken bones and other injuries.  They were not in restraint seats.

She was arrested for driving drunk, child endangerment and other counts.  She could be formally charged later today or tomorrow.
