Chuck was born at Saint Elizabeth’s hospital in Appleton Wisconsin!

His grandparents were responsible for getting him in front of a microphone at the early age of 4. That was all he needed to start this love affair with broadcasting. He would go to the Zuelke building where he would watch the DJ’s on WAPL. He would also call the Bob Lloyd show and be on the radio. Chuck loved the magic of the media and does to this day.

Chuck started out in broadcasting at the tender age of 14 at Wisconsin State University at River Falls. After a short stint in the Air Force, he returned and started his career in broadcasting which has been going on for the past 38 years.

Chuck has not only done radio over the years but has also been a TV weatherman in Buffalo New York and was a fill-in host for the “AM Buffalo” Television Show. He has also hosted top-rated radio shows in San Diego, Washington, DC, Milwaukee, and Portland, Or.

If you asked Chuck what is favorite thing about broadcasting he would tell you. “The listeners!” He would also tell you the opportunities afforded him because of his career. He loves to be able to let listeners know about important fund raising events, how they can help out in their communities and by helping out personally. Chuck is always doing something for charities!

In the late spring and summer months, Chuck is swinging a golf club, then emceeing many charity golf dinners. The rest of the year he is fundraising for schools, animal shelters or countless other charities. Chuck says “those are long days for me but worth the time.”

In addition to the morning show on The Drive, he hosts 4 other radio shows every day. And in his spare time - Chuck has a DJ Service for Company Parties, Weddings and Emceeing. He also does voice work and TV commercials.

On a personal note Chuck and his wife Barb have been together 34 years, are the proud parents of 2, and grandfather of 8! And we can’t forget Damian, his 9-year-old German Shepherd .. Buddy, a 2 year old mixed breed and Ellie... the puppy-mill rescue cockapoo - both from the Fox Valley Humane Association !

Chuck also would like to thank the listeners for listening every morning, because without you I would just be sitting in padded room talking to myself!
